1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in via email magic link, we collect your email address. If you claim a club, we store your association with that club listing.

Club & Route Data: Club owners who claim listings provide club details including name, location, Instagram handle, schedules, and routes. Route data includes geographic coordinates and map geometry.

Reviews: When you submit a review, we collect the review content, rating, your name (if provided), and your IP address for rate-limiting purposes.

Location Data: If you grant browser location access, we use your coordinates to show nearby clubs and routes. We do not store your precise location on our servers. Your city preference is saved locally in your browser via localStorage.

Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymous usage data such as pages visited, referrer, browser, and general geographic region. This is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites.

Payment Data: Payments for featured listings and event promotions are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

• To authenticate your account and manage club ownership
• To display club listings, routes, events, and reviews to site visitors
• To show you relevant clubs and routes based on your location
• To process payments for featured listings and event promotions
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, payment confirmations)
• To prevent abuse (review rate limiting, spam detection)
• To improve the site through anonymous analytics

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party services necessary to operate the site:

• Supabase: Database hosting
• Vercel: Website hosting and deployment
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• Mapbox: Map rendering and geocoding
• Vercel Web Analytics: Cookieless, aggregate site analytics

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Club listings, routes, and reviews remain on the platform unless deleted by the owner or an administrator. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We use browser localStorage to remember your city preference. Our analytics provider (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for location access at any time via browser settings
• Opt out of analytics by using a browser ad blocker or Do Not Track setting

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication tokens, row-level database security, and security headers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

RunClubDirect is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
